AUTO-COLLECT
At the time of booking, the first night's rate will be collected. Payment for all retail items and gift certificates will also be collected. Applies to: all reservations.


SCHEDULED DEPOSIT
1 day before arrival, 100% of the reservation balance will be collected. If a reservation is booked "last-minute" (within the scheduled time frame), the initial deposit will be collected in addition to the scheduled amount. Applies to: all reservations.

DIRECTIONS
From HWY 101 NORTH and HWY 101 South: HWY 101 to Myers Flat Exit 656, onto the Avenue of the Giants, HWY 254. Turn LEFT at the Daily Grind Coffee /Deli onto Myers Avenue. Drive straight on Myers Ave for 1/4 mile to our lit stone column gate. DO NOT TURN ON BOY SCOUT RD. Please check in at the office.

SURROUNDING AREA
We are in a rural area and recommend you bring the supplies you need. The closest market and restaurants are in Miranda 6 miles South on the Avenue of the Giants. The Humboldt Redwoods State Park Visitor Center is 4 miles North on the Avenue of the Giants, is a great source for additional information about the Redwoods.

DOG POLICY
The purpose of this policy is to provide a safe enjoyable environment for our guests and their critters. The safety and wellbeing of our campers, children and, yes, your dog is our utmost concern. Dealing with loose dogs and locating their owners is taking a toll on our guests, staff, and the park management team. Your Responsibilities 1. Register Your Dog(s) •Register each dog when you check in at the park. •Maximum of 3 pets per RV site/Cabin. •Keep the registration tag you receive on each dog. •Registration has your last name and site/cabin assignment. 2. Always Keep Your Dog(s) In Control •Please understand dogs are never allowed to be loose anywhere in the park, including the beach, except for the fenced dog park. •Dogs with aggressive behaviors are prohibited from the dog park. •DOGS MUST BE ON A LEASH 6FT OR SHORTER with a capable human on the other end of the leash OR on a secured tie-out keeping the dog within your site boundaries OR crated/fenced at all times. •Barking must be kept to a minimum and not disturb other guests.

GIFT SHOP
Gift Shop/Front Desk opens at 9am and closing time varies by season. We are always avaiable by text. Our store sells ice, firewood, beer, wine, sodas, ice cream, treats, and other limited supplies but no perishables. We offer Gift Packages with Local Wine, Beer, Coffee and Smores Kits. You can purchase them prior to your arrival from the Add-on tab on our booking site or anytime during your stay.

RV OCCUPANCY RATES & FEES POLICY
RV Rates include 2 people, 1 pet, 1 vehicle/RV. Maximum of 6 people & 3 pets per site. Extra $5.00 fee per person and $5.00 per extra car.

SMS POLICY
Guests opt in to SMS upon arrival regarding reservation and park information. Reply "STOP" to opt out of SMS from Giant Redwoods RV & Cabin Destination.

CABINS
No pets in the cabins or on the decks except for designated pet-friendly cabins. No smoking in the cabins or on the cabin decks. Cabin check in is at 3:00pm. Cabin rates include 4 people per cabin. The cabins have a queen bed and a twin bunk bed, so you will need bed linens for those as well as your own towels. Linen and towels are also available for rent - $35Q/$25T. You will be assigned your own private separate bathroom, as there is no plumbing in the cabins. There is an outdoor dishwashing station by the bathrooms. The cabin has a mini fridge/freezer, microwave oven, and a coffee maker with coffee and coffee essentials for your use. If you have a Hulu or Netflix account or other accounts, you will be able to sign in to your account on our smart TV. There is also a picnic table and a fire pit with a grill top for your use or you can bring your own barbecue. Please put your campfire out completely when leaving it unattended. We do sell firewood at a self serve kiosk outside of the office to the right of the building. Pack as though you are tent camping, but leave the tent at home, as you are "Glamping". Cabin Pet Policy: Pets are NOT ALLOWED in the Cabins C-2, C-4,and C-5. Cabins C-1 and C-3 are dog friendly for a $30/night fee. A $150 cleaning fee will be assessed if there is evidence of pets in the cabin. Cabin Rates include 4 people per cabin, pets are only allowed in designated pet-friendly cabins for a $30/night fee. There is a $150 fee if a pet is found in a cabin not designated as Dog Friendly.

CAMPING
Only fully self-contained RV camping and cabin rentals are available. No car camping or tent camping including van conversions, roof-top tents, and pop-up tent trailers that are not fully self-contained. A self-contained RV is an RV that has the ability to be fully self-sufficient. It has plumbing, fresh and wastewater storage, a way to cook, and a toilet or full bathroom. It also has an internal power system. A self-contained RV does not need any help from outside sources or campsite facilities.

FIREWOOD/FIREPITS:
A fee will be charged for fire pits that are damaged or moved. Please do not harvest wood from the park including the riverbank. CA Dept of Agriculture and US Forest Service asks that you “Buy it where you burn it”.

FIREWORKS:
Fireworks are prohibited in the park including near or on the river.

GENERATORS:
Generators are prohibited except when there is a power outage.

LANDSCAPING/EQUIPMENT:
Please exercise caution when arriving or departing from your site. Please avoid driving over plants or fire pits. Parking is only permitted on the gravel and not on the grass. No tents allowed for any use. Canopies are allowed for day use.

LIABILITY:
Guests are responsible for all loss, damage, injury to any person or property caused by guests or visitors of guests, pets, or acts of nature. Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless Giant Redwoods RV, its owners, and staff.

PETS:
No aggressive dogs. No rottweilers or pit bulls. Read the Dog Policy.

SANITATION, WASTE MANAGEMENT AND PROPANE POLICY
Do not put trash in the fire rings. Deposit trash and recycling in the dumpsters and recycle bins located by the North Bath-House and South Dump Station. Outdoor sinks are located near the bathrooms for dishwashing. No dumping of any water from an RV on the ground. For full hook-up sites a threaded connector or rubber ring is required. Do not dispose of wipes and feminine products down any toilet, they will clog the system. Our self service Dump Station is included in your stay. Honey Wagon service is available on site for an additional fee. We do not sell or refill propane on-site. The nearest propane refill station is in Miranda, 6 miles South on the Avenue of the Giants.

SPEED LIMIT:
Drive SLOWLY – Our speed limit is always 5 MPH within the park.

SWIMMING/BEACH ACCESS/ PLAYGROUND/HIKING/ETC.:
All activities are done at your own risk. Minors must be supervised by an adult when on recreational equipment and when at the beach. There is no lifeguard on duty. Guests are responsible for their own belongings; no personal belongings may be left unattended on the beach. Guests may not “save their space” on the beach or disrespect the environment. Please clean up after yourself. No glass allowed on the beach.

TREES:
Climbing trees is prohibited. Please do not attach or hang anything from trees or shrubs, this includes hammocks.

VEHICLES:
All vehicles must be registered at the front desk. No washing of vehicles or RVs. Parking is only permitted on the gravel and not on the grass. Vehicles are prohibited on the riverbed/beach. Management will provide beach access assistance to elderly/disabled guests upon request. No EV charging allowed. Read the Vehicle, Bicycle, Carts & Recreational Devices Policy.

VISITORS:
No visitors are allowed after 10 PM, and all visitors must check in at the office. Additional fees will be incurred. Maximum of 6 people and 2 vehicles per RV site and 4 people, 2 vehicles per Cabin. Read the Visitor Policy. Please adhere to the rules of GRRV Park. Per CA Civil Code 799.20-.79, the park reserves the right to ask non-compliant guests to leave the park. Any vehicles that are towed will be at the owner’s expense.

RESERVATIONS FOR MULTIPLE SITES:
The purpose of this policy is to manage site availability and to offer the maximum RV site selection to our guests. 1.Each site reserved must be for a different RV. When multiple sites are booked, individual occupant information for each site is required including that person’s name, address, telephone number, email address, RV size/type, and license plate number. This information must be provided within 14 days prior to arrival. 2.Individual occupant credit card information is suggested but not required, if a single credit card is used the card holder acknowledges responsibility for all fees incurred during your group’s stay. 3.We recommend that guests call our office at (707) 943-9999 to ensure that their group reservation has been made in compliance with this policy. 4.Management reserves the right to cancel multiple site reservations that fail to provide individual occupant information for each site and to apply the applicable cancellation fee(s). Read the Cancellation Policy.

SERVICE ANIMAL POLICY
These policies are intended to provide a pleasant stay for you and your service dog. Service Dog Policies: If you have a pet that is not a service animal, we respectfully request that you honor the good work of service animals by not claiming that your pet is a service animal. (Note: Because of past abuses by some guests and patrons, we want to remind you that California Penal Code Section 365.7 makes it a crime to fraudulently misrepresent a dog as a service animal. Violations of this law are subject to imprisonment and fines up to $1,000.) 1.Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA): a. A service animal is defined as a dog that has been individually trained to do, work, or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. The task(s) performed by the dog must be directly related to the person's disability. b. “Support” and “comfort” dogs are not “service animals” protected by the ADA. c. We may ask you (1) whether the dog is a service dog required because of a disability, and (2) what work or task the dog has been trained to perform. 2. Service animals must be housebroken. 3. Service animals must never be left unattended in guest cabins. 4. When a service animal is outside of the guest cabin: a. It must be under the control of its handler at all times, and b. It must have a harness, leash, or other tether, unless either the handler is unable because of a disability to use such a device or use of it would interfere with the service animal’s safe, effective performance of work or tasks, in which case the service animal must be otherwise under the handler’s control (e.g., voice control, signals, or other effective means). 5. It is grounds for eviction if a service dog is threatening people, barking, or otherwise out of control and/or creating a disturbance, and the dog’s handler does not take prompt and effective action to control it. 6. Guests with a Service Dog are required to register their dog upon arrival and must acknowledge and agree to our Service Animal Policies.

DOG POLICY VIOLATION:
Failure to follow these policies will result in your removal from the park with NO REFUND. • Unregistered dog(s) and dogs without a registration tag. • Dog(s) out of control – pet running loose in park or excessive barking. • Leaving pet waste, not removing it promptly. • Leaving pets unattended in the park. • Hostile or aggressive dogs. Please adhere to and cooperate with our dog policy. If you feel our policy is too restrictive and you cannot go along with it, please leave your dog at home. If you are asked to secure your dog, do not argue with our staff or your fellow campers. Please text the office number (707) 943-9999 if you see someone who is not adhering to this policy.

VEHICLE, BICYCLE, CARTS & RECREATIONAL DEVICES POLICY:
1. General Vehicle Rules: • Adhere to the maximum speed limit of 5 MPH or less. • Obey all posted traffic signs and rules/regulations. • Parking is only permitted on the gravel and not on the grass. • No vehicles are allowed on the riverbed or the beach. • Watch for bicycles, pedestrians, and other vehicular traffic. • Do not have open containers of alcohol while operating vehicles. • Drivers cannot be under the influence of alcohol, chemical substances, or controlled substances. • Secure children and adults inside the vehicle; no riding in the bed of pickup trucks or on open tailgates, etc. • NO EV Charging allowed within the park. Violation will result in a $75 fee. Staff can provide information about local EV charging stations. 2. Bicycle and Recreational Devices • General vehicle rules apply. • Adhere to posted speed limit of 5 MPH whether riding a non-electric or motorized/electric device such as a bicycle, scooter or Segway. • Adhere to all California Rules of the Road while operating any bicycle and any electronic personal assistance mobility devices (EPAMDs), such as Segways, scooters, and E-Bikes. • Equip bicycles and EPAMDs, such as Segways, with head and tail lights if operated after dusk. • Comply with California State Law which requires all riders under the age of 18 to wear a bike helmet. • Motorized personal watercrafts are not permitted. 3. Cart Rules • Cart rules include, but are not limited to, carts such as golf carts, side-by-sides, and 4-wheelers like ATVs. • General vehicle rules apply. • Cart drivers must be at least 16 years of age and always hold a valid driver’s license in possession while operating the cart. Driver’s Learner’s Permits are not acceptable. • Every passenger in a cart must always stay seated in a seat. No standing. • Children are not permitted to sit on the driver’s lap. Children aged 3 or less may sit on a passenger’s lap while being secured by the passenger. • Children may not assist with driving the cart at any time. • Carts must remain on the roadways, off-roading is prohibited. • Larger vehicles have “right of way”. Carts must yield to larger vehicles. Keep to the right on roadways to allow larger vehicles to pass and always yield to pedestrians. 4. Other Recreational Devices Rules • Absolutely no firearms, no BB/other guns, and NO FIREWORKS are allowed on the property. Violators of these policies will be asked to vacate the property, NO REFUNDS.

VISITOR POLICY:
The purpose of this policy is to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for our guests. The park should not be overcrowded with visitors and their vehicles at the expense of our guests. The safety and wellbeing of our guests is our utmost concern. Additionally, this policy is intended to minimize poachers trespassing into the park and using the space and amenities, which is unfair to our guests, staff, and the park management team. 1. Definitions: • Guest – A guest has a paid site/cabin reservation during their stay, starting at registration upon arrival. • Visitor – A person invited by a registered guest to spend time at the guest’s site/cabin. 2. Visitor Policy • Management reserves the right to limit the number of visitors to the property to maintain safety and security. • Guests must register every visitor prior to the visitor’s arrival by providing visitor names, date of visit, visitor vehicle description, if any, including license plate number. • Guests must be onsite during the duration of the visit. • Visitors must check in at the office upon arrival, pay the applicable fees and receive an identifying wristband (blue) and vehicle tag, if applicable. • The maximum number of people (guests plus visitors) is 6/RV and 4/Cabin. • The maximum number of vehicles (Guests’ plus visitors’) is 2/RV and 2/Cabin. • Visitors must wear their issued identifying wristband while on the property. • Visitor vehicles must display the visitor pass/hangtag with the day and site noted. • Visitors must vacate the park by 10 PM. • Visitors must follow all the rules, regulations and policies required of guests. • Do not give out bathroom codes or Wi-Fi passwords to anyone. Unregistered visitors that may seek use of restrooms and Wi-Fi which is considered theft of services and prohibited. Registered guests who have misplaced/forgotten codes or passwords can get this information by texting (707) 943-9999 or seeking staff assistance at the office. Violation: Guests and their visitors who violate this policy will be asked to vacate the property, NO REFUND. In addition, a guest penalty per unregistered visitor may be applied.

CANCELLATION POLICY
This policy refers to reservations that are canceled prior to a guest’s arrival. If guests arrive for their reservation and decide they would like to remove night’s or decide mid-stay that they would like to depart early it will result in forfeiture of those funds. A) Prior to 2 weeks: • $20 fee for RV Cancellations • $45 fee for Cabin Cancellations B) 2 weeks through 3 days prior: • 50% of the deposit (deposit is the first night’s stay) C) 2 days or less: • 100% of the deposit (deposit is the first night’s stay)
